Dubai is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It has everything that you need and more. You can go shopping, eat at a restaurant, enjoy a show, go to a museum and also visit some of its landmarks which make it even more exciting.
Burj Khalifa
The tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa is a mixed-use skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is a breathtaking sight to behold! The tower stands at 828 metres (2,717 ft) high and has 163 floors. Construction began on 21 September 2004; however it was not opened until 4 January 2010. The building has been designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) and Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture.
The design of Burj Khalifa uses the tapering shape of an hourglass that is made from circular modules which meet at sky lobbies that are located along its length. Each floor accommodates one or more apartments with large terraces with magnificent views across Dubai’s skyline. A total of about 1 million m3 (35 million cu ft) of concrete were used during construction using over 200 cranes on site simultaneously during construction which took just over five years to complete!
Dubai Motiongate
Dubai Motiongate is the world’s first theme park based on Hollywood movies. It is located in Dubai Parks and Resorts, which also houses Bollywood Parks Dubai, Legoland Dubai and SEGA Republic.
The rides at the Motiongate are inspired by some of the most popular films of all time including Transformers: The Ride 3D and The Smurfs 4-D Adventure. You can also get your picture taken with a life-size replica of Batman’s Batmobile!
One thing that makes it different from other parks is that every ride has some sort of special effect or gimmick that makes it more interesting than just sitting in a roller coaster car going up and down hills (though there are plenty of those too). For example, on Transformers: The Ride 3D you’ll feel like you’re in an actual robot battle while riding inside one yourself!
